In addition to the color themes we rolled out a couple weeks ago, we’re introducing the next batch of color themes. There are another three and this time they’re based around a more urban, New York feel. (Please don’t be angry with us all the rest of you Chicago and Boston denizens.) These work great for sleek loft properties, but they also work well for a more straight minimalist look. As always, give them a whirl and let us know what you think!

more new color themes
Friday, April 27th, 2007support
Saturday, April 21st, 2007Hi all, we’ve had a few emails asking how to get in touch with us, so to let everybody know, you can always reach us at via our contact us page. Also, for general questions, you can check out our FAQ.
A few people have also asked if we provide phone support. Unfortunately, we don’t. Why? We’re just two guys doing support, and we have full-time jobs. (No, postlets isn’t our full-time job.) Maybe one day we’ll have a whole team of tech support personnel who can answer emails and phone calls, but for now we’ll leave that to the companies with millions in the bank.
larger craigslist photos
Sunday, April 15th, 2007In addition to the new color themes we rolled out the other day, we’ve modified our HTML code for real estate and rentals to include the standard size photos instead of just the thumbnails. Since we’re good craigslist citizens, always abiding by their Terms of Use agreement, and can’t link back to the full-fledged postlets, we figured this would be the next best thing in terms of showing the photos.
If anybody wants to go back to having the thumbnail version instead, please let us know. We can make it available again as a choice. The only reason we don’t just do it immediately is we don’t want to make things too convoluted with too many branching options unless people want them.
new color themes
Saturday, April 14th, 2007It took much longer than we had hoped, but we just released three new template color themes: Marina, Pacific Heights and Union Square. Yes, we’re a Bay Area company, and we wanted the first batch of new themes to reflect some of the color and personality of San Francisco neighborhoods.
So why did it take so long to roll these out? Well, we could have released several amateurish (designed by yours truly) themes months ago. But before we could, we found James, an incredibly talented and accomplished graphic designer, and asked him to join the team. His first task: study and design color palettes for new themes. We’re really pleased with his first batch of three and feel it was well worth the wait.
We plan to release several more new themes in the coming weeks. We’d love to get your feedback on the current choices as well as on new ones you’d like to see.

colors…?
Thursday, April 5th, 2007We’ll finally be introducing some new colors. Just today we were doing some testing to make sure everything updated correctly for them. It’s been forever coming, hasn’t it? Sorry. But we’ve been tightening up a few things here and there, so it definitely hasn’t been development dead, just nothing big enough for a news release.
